Bishop Charles Wallace is a devoted husband to Beatrice Wallace and the proud father of four sons. 

    In 1980, Bishop Wallace gave his life to the Lord and was filled with the precious gift of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues.  He was also baptized in water in the name of Jesus.  From the beginning of his Christian journey, he served faithfully in church as a Sunday school teacher, musician, and deacon.

    After demonstrating a strong ability to lead, teach, and serve God’s people, he was called into the ministry.  As a Minister, he faithfully assisted the pastor, continuing to grow in wisdom and dedication to the work of the Lord. 

    In 1984, he was ordained as an elder.  Elder Wallace worked closely with the pastor and faithfully ministered the word of God when the pastor became too ill to continue in that role. 

   In November 1990, following the leading and move of God, Elder Wallace established his own ministry, Faith Deliverance Apostolic Tabernacle.  The ministry was birthed in the home of Elder and Sister Wallace, where the foundation for a thriving work of God was laid.  In June 1994, the beautiful edifice in the current location was completed and became the place of worship for the growing congregation. 

   Because of his faithful shepherding of God’s people and the servant’s heart he consistently displayed, Elder Wallace was elevated to the office of Bishop.  With humility and dedication, he accepted this sacred calling in May 2001. 

   Today, Bishop Wallace continues to labor faithfully in the vineyard of the Lord, steadfast in his commitment to preach the Gospel, lead God’s people, and fulfill the divine call upon his life.
